The Princess Royal Sports Complex at Wellington School offers a range of top-class sports facilities to the public, sports clubs, local businesses and organisations outside of school hours and during the holidays. We own the largest sports hall in town which can cater for a multitude of sports and activities including: football, centre court basketball and netball, handball, indoor cricket and martial arts.
We also have the only full size, floodlit all weather pitch in town and we boast some of the best facilities in our area. We can offer Wellington School's outdoor facilities as well including: swimming pool, playing fields and outdoor tennis courts. 
We offer fitness classes to members and non-members which range from: kettlebell training to gym circuits. We also play host to a variety of coaching courses including: hockey, rugby, netball, strength & conditioning, first aid and lifeguarding. We provide first class facilities for big competitions for: hockey, fencing and badminton but can also cater for small events and tournaments. Our swimming pool is going from strength to strength with various swim schools and courses including NPLQ taking full advantage of this facility.

    PENSIONER Chris Marrow, of Wellington, has enough pulling power at the age of 73 to help break an indoor rowing world record. Chris, a member of the Princess Royal Sports Complex in the town, was one of a team of eight over-70 rowers dubbed ‘No Surrender’ to row 100km in relay in 5 hours 49 minutes 50.2 seconds. He was invited to take part in the record at Tommy Gee’s Indoor Rowing Club
