WHO ARE KIDS CAMPS FOR?
Our KIDS CAMPS programme is open to all children aged 8 - 14.
WHO RUNS KIDS CAMPS?
Each KIDS CAMPS day is run by the Princess Royal Sports Complex at Wellington School. Each day will be overseen by Camp Co-ordinator Gary Beasley who will be assisted by the Sports Complex team. Normal days run from 8.30am
(no earlier please) – 4.30pm. Our Late Club runs from 4.30 – 5.30pm costing
£2 per child.
We also use professional coaches and instructors for various sports and activities. All staff are D.B.S checked.
WHERE DO ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE?
All of the facilities at Wellington School are available to us including: swimming pool, tennis courts, playing fields, sports hall and astro turf pitch.
Some of our days will be off-site, so children will be transported by our very own minibuses.

We advise that children have a high factor sun cream already applied when they
arrive. Children will also require a hat.
Children will need to bring a packed lunch and bottled drink on every day. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day. For ADVENTURE CAMP DAYS (off site): bring a change of clothes, a towel and items to cook on the fire such as: sausages, bacon, marshmallows and beans are essential. Bring wellies!
WHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR?
Children should wear: clean indoor trainers, t-shirt, sweatshirt, shorts or tracksuit bottoms for indoor activities. Outdoor activities require warm, waterproof clothes as well as a change of clothes/footwear.
Some of our days have a fun swim as an extra. On these days children should bring: swimming kit and a towel. If your child is not a competent swimmer or does not feel confident in the water, please speak to a member of staff. For the Quaywest trip children can bring wetsuits and ride-on-rings with them.
