What are the timings for Camps? |
|
Children can be dropped off at the Sports
Complex from 8.30am and activities will
start around 9.15am. For off-site trips we
ask that all children have arrived by 9.15am
at the latest. Lunch will normally take
place between 12.00 and 1.00pm.
Activities will normally finish around
3.45pm and children can be collected from
4.00pm. For off-site trips to Paintballing
and Cobb’s Cross, children will arrive back
at the Sports Complex at approximately 5.00
– 5.30pm depending on traffic. |
|
|
|
Late Club |
|
We run our free of
charge LATE CLUB from 4.30 – 5.30pm where
children will play games, watch DVD’s and
play board games until they are picked up.
Latest collection is 5.30pm. |
|
|
|
What do you need to bring with you? |
|
Children will need to bring a packed lunch
and bottled drink on every day no matter
what activity they will be doing.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the
day. Snacks and refreshments can be
purchased from our vending machines, located
in the foyer.
We advise children NOT to bring expensive
toys, ipods or mp3 players as we cannot be
held responsible for their loss or damage. |
|
|
|
What should you wear? |
|
Children should wear; clean indoor trainers,
t-shirt, sweatshirt, shorts or tracksuit
bottoms for indoor activities. Outdoor
activities require warm, waterproof clothes
as well as a change of clothes/footwear.
|
|
|
|
Swimming Pool |
|
Several days of Kids Camps have a fun swim
as an extra. On these days children should
bring: swimming kit and a towel. If your
child is not a competent swimmer or does not
feel confident in the water, please speak to
a member of staff. |
|
|
|
Sun
Protection |
|
A hot summer is predicted and it is
essential that children are protected from
the sun. Please ensure that children arrive
with a high factor sun cream already applied
and please send them with sun cream. We will
remind and assist them to re-apply during
the day. Children will also need a suitable
hat for outdoor activities. |
