Facilities
 Wellington
School offers some of the most outstanding
sports facilities in the South West of
England.

Our facilities are open to the local
community, sports groups and organisations
for weekly bookings, one-off events or
residential bookings.
Princess Royal Sports Complex
The
indoor facilities within the Princess Royal
Sports Complex include:
- Large sports hall
- Spectator seating for 150 people
(additional can be provided)
- Fitness room
- Seminar rooms
- Sports medicine room
- Fencing Salle/dance studio
- Four changing room with showers
- Accessible changing, shower and toilet
facilities
- Extensive parking
With a new extension now being added to the
Princess Royal Sports Complex, from November
2008 we will also be able to offer
additional seminar rooms and a large hall
for social events with a kitchen/servery
facilities.
Spectator Events
With one of the largest sports halls in the
South West of England (a total of 1012 m²
and room for 800 people) as well as
permanent seating for 150 spectators we are
able to cater for a large range of events.
Additional seating can be brought in on
request to cater for bigger crowds. We also
have extensive parking close to the Sports
Complex, within the grounds of Wellington
School and a public car park close by.
All-weather Astroturf Pitch
Situated within the grounds of Wellington
School, the floodlit Astroturf pitch is
available for booking by sports groups for
weekly bookings or events. Toilet facilities
are available close-by on request.
Rugby and Cricket Pitches
Rugby and cricket pitches are in extensive
use by Wellington School but are occasional
hired out to outside groups. Contact
reception on (01823) 668 718 to check
availability.
 Residential
Wellington School has five boarding houses
and can offer accommodation for up to 160
people.
For residential bookings we also are able to
offer the use of many of the additional
facilities we have available at Wellington
School.
These include extensive playing fields,
lecture theatres, class rooms, swimming
pool, tennis courts, squash courts and
all-weather floodlit Astroturf pitch.
Everything indeed both for your event and
your group's leisure time.
